Omegas are super, BUT what is the difference?

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are just that - essential to life!

We cannot manufacture these within our body, so we have to rely on getting what we need from our diet. Brain tissue is largely made up of fatty acids, which are essential to healthy brain development and maintenance. As well as providing the building blocks of cell membranes, EFA's have been found to have multiple health benefits for the whole body.

SUPER OMEGA-3 EPA

Sourced from the flesh of cold water fish, such as anchovy, sardine and mackerel. Each capsule of Nature's Sunshine's Super Omega-3 EPA contains both EPA 380mg and DHA 190mg, which improves the effectiveness of the product. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the the heart, and the maintenance of normal blood pressure and normal blood tryglyceride levels. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function, and to the maintenance of normal vision.

Many fitness industry professionals also recommend the use of Omega-3 EFAs as part of a weight management programme

OMEGA 3-6-9
A superb and convenient plant sourced alternative to fish oils. Flax seed oil is one of the richest sources of Omega-3 fatty acids, and contains almost twice as much omega-3 as fish oils. Flax seed oil is a rich source of these EFAs. It also contains lignans, and linoleic acid, another EFA. Again, these two fatty acids are termed essential as the body cannot manufacture them.
